The 2026 edition of the Future of Architecture Summit (FOA Summit) will take place on 31 March in Dubai, the Middle East Consultant (MEC) team has confirmed.
While the exact venue will be revealed in the coming days, the architecture and urban planning-focused event is scheduled to run from 9am to 3pm. Attendance is complimentary, though prior registration is mandatory.
This year’s summit will feature a dynamic program of panel discussions, presentations, and interactive workshops. Key themes on the agenda include green cities in the Middle East, the direct and indirect risks of artificial intelligence, wellness-driven architecture, and the future of urban mobility.
More than 20 regional speakers representing leading local and international architecture and urban planning firms are expected to participate in the day-long conference. Speaker announcements will be made progressively via the FOA Summit website.
Commenting on the event, Jason Saundalkar, Editorial Director of the Built Environment & Heavy Industry Divisions at CPI Trade Media, noted that many Middle Eastern cities are at a pivotal stage in their development. He emphasised the need for decision-makers to move beyond growth driven solely by new construction, and instead prioritise meaningful human experiences, sustainability and resilience, high-quality public spaces, and diverse mobility solutions. The 2026 FOA Summit, he said, aims to address these pressing issues through a carefully curated agenda designed to spark dialogue, foster connections, and drive tangible change.
Professionals interested in speaking or presenting at the summit can contact Jason Saundalkar directly. Sponsorship opportunities and presentation or workshop bookings are available through Jas Kaur or Arif Bari at CPI Trade Media.
